Panel: Flexible Trend Chart

The Flexible Trend Chart is currently in BETA state and is available at specific tiers.

The Flexible Trend Chart panel is used for analyzing full resolution signal data in dashboards. This panel loads full resolution signal data and allows for aggregation and sampling while viewing the data. This panel differs from the standard Line Chart which uses sampled historical data and is designed to load and view signal data at a faster speed and with more configuration options.

Example of the Flexible Trend Chart panel

As this panel loads all data points for a signal in the time period, it may require making multiple fetches to load the entire window. This process for larger time windows will be slower than a similar request with the standard Line Chart panel which queries sampled data.

Viewing Tools

The chart provides users with the ability to analyze signal data, including customizable aggregation (average, min, max), line area fills, and showing trend-lines.
